Investiture Grand Priory of Grand Britain 2018

Lord-Lieutenant of Lancashire, 
The Rt Hon The Lord Shuttleworth was among the distinguished guests who gathered for our Investiture of new members this year in Preston.

Members and friends packed into the beautiful church of St Thomas of Canterbury and the English Martyrs in Preston, Lancashire, for Solemn High Mass and the Investiture,
including the formal appointment of Chev. Anthony Dickinson as our new Grand Prior.

Sister Adorers of the Royal Heart of Jesus, came from the local Convent 
to attend and to sing most beautifully at the Mass.





With the Grand Master at prie-dieux on the sanctuary, 
clergy and members of the Institute of Christ the King, 
who have care of shrine of the English Martyrs and were very welcoming 
and generous hosts to the Order.

two of our members were raised to the rank of Knight 
and one to Dame.

The Grand Prior presented a cheque to Mr Mike Parr, Chief Executive of St Joseph's Hospice.
The Hospice is one of the charities the Grand Priory is supporting 
in liaison with Archbishop Malcolm McMahon.

The Grand Priory also made a donation to the fund for the Mayor's Charities.
